Incognito: Project 365

Project 365 was an idea my friend Ray told me about. You take one picture a day for a whole year. I have decided that my New Year's resolution is to start, and hopefully complete, this objective. I will also blog from time to time. - Christian Incognito (December 17, 2009)

New Orleans: The End:
This New Orleans trip is something I will never forget. Not just because it was in New Orleans but because it was done with amazing friends. I loved every part of this trip. Thank you Jared for helping put this together. Watching the fireworks go off on the Mississippi River was spectacular, something I am glad I got to share with you.
I don’t know how we will top this trip…….keep thinking boys!
In this picture (left to right) is:
Mike Devlin = Ole Bessie
Ray Canaria = The Mayor of Bourbon Street
Me = Dirty Don
Jared McGrath = Bloodbath
Matt Phillips = Po Boy
John Gigioli = John-Balaya

Atlanta, Georgia:
Arrived in Atlanta, Georgia early in the morning - around 8am? (not too sure, I was sleeping) Anyways, we slept in Jared’s apartment until noon and then, after we all woke up, Jared showed us around town.
Atlanta is an awesome city. Very clean. The first stop we went to was The Varsity (a famous chili joint.) While there we saw the mayor of Atlanta! After The Varsity we explored Georgia Tech’s campus, went to Centennial Olympic Park, and then went to Little Five Points to eat at Vortex Bar and Grill (The place I wanted to go to because it was featured on Man vs Food!) Delicious!
I have a lot of pictures from Georgia but I have decided to put my New Years trip pictures up altogether after I am done with 365. Probably put them up tomorrow.
This picture is of all of us eating at The Varsity (Nice Jared).

On the Road:

I am back. After a week, I am now posting the final pictures of this 365 adventure….

On the way down to Atlanta, Georgia Ray and I found this gangsta radio station (Hoodrich Radio.) Just what we needed for the long trip!

Thank You, Project 52, & Happy New Year! (My Last Post of the Year)

As the year 2010 comes to a close, my Project 365 is also ending. It has been a hell of a time; good and bad (but mostly good). However the day has been, I have always taken a picture and talked about it. I haven’t shared everything in my life but for those following you have had a “window” into what I do and who I am. And don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind at all. I like to hear that people have been following me and that you check in and see how my year has progressed. I enjoy it (maybe even more than you) on how I have been doing with my blog.

For everyone who has been following me, to the ones who just found my blog this month to even those who have been following me before January 1st, 2010, — from the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you. I know I am not the most interesting person but I do try to make my blog interesting; let it be with making music, posting videos, and even a little writing. I hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as I have.

There are those who actively tell me they are following me and those who give little hints when I talk to them that they are “secretly” following me. I appreciate everyone who has taken the time out of their day to read, look, and hear what I have been doing in my life. And please don’t be shy to tell me you have read this in my blog or that you have been following me. I don’t mind at all.

So……WHAT COMES NEXT?

I am traveling down to Atlanta, Georgia tonight and by Friday I will be in New Orleans, Louisiana to celebrate the new year with some close friends. I won’t be able to post my last 3 pictures because I won’t be taking my laptop with me. But being this close to the end, you better believe I am finishing this Project 365 strong. I’ll post the pictures when I get back.

Four months into this project I was thinking what will I do next year if I finish 365? Should I do it again?……and then in the summer it came to me. Instead of 365 pictures, I will do something every week. It will be a little less time consuming but still be personal.

Project 52 was born.

52 weeks.

52 video blogs (vlogs).

New Years in New Orleans will be my first one. It should be interesting….

CLOSING REMARKS, PROJECT 365 BOOK, & HAPPY NEW YEAR:

I have typed a lot so I am going to try and end pretty quickly. THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN!

After I get back and unwind from new years I am going to sit down and make my Project 365 book. I would love it if you could write a little something in it and sign it. I am pretty sure you are in a picture or two or five :) I can’t wait to look at and share my year with you through pictures. It will be a “snapshot” of my year in 2010….

Ok, everyone have a safe and happy new year! I’ll see you in 2011!!!

And hey, why don’t you start your own blog. Let me know and I’ll be the first one to follow you.

Safe travels wherever you go,

- Christian Incognito

Friends:

Dobby the House Elf once told me, “Such a beautiful place, to be with friends…” and that held true for last night. My high school friends and I got together at McGinty’s Pub in Downtown Silver Spring for a little reunion. It was short, but very sweet. Altogether it was just great to see everyone over some drinks and a little dinner. I missed you guys.

Guesstures:

Woke up in the basement of Ray’s, went to work, went home, watched Friends, slept, then Ryan picked me up and I had another night at the Canaria household.

We all went to Target and bought Guesstures. Guys vs. Girls. You know who won! I don’t need to give you any hints…..(but yeah the guys won).

Pictures up top.

Snowboarding Day #2 and Dr. Canaria:

Decided to hit up Liberty mountain to get my second snowboarding day in before the new year. My arm still hurts a little but it’s getting better. At the mountain I hit some good jumps and worked on my board grabs. It was fun but the conditions are still icy. It needs to snow here. New Jersey, New York, and VIRGINIA BEACH all got snow! Come on.

After snowboarding I went to Ray’s house to congratulate Michelle (his older sister) on becoming a Doctor! That is amazing! The party started at 2pm and I didn’t get there until 11:30pm. Fashionably late lol [I was snowboarding damn!] Anyways, we had a great time. We played some fooseball,  Friends Trivia, Just Dance 2 for the Wii, and then we decided to drink…..and damn did we drink. After all the drinking we all slept in the basement. Haha
